Night 7 results

So here’s the deal. Last night I spent 13 hours on a bus travelling home. Then I needed some sleep. Later, I spent the day taking care of rather important personal business. So that explains the delay. It may also explain today’s disappointing story.

That night, as you would expect, MattAY was snorting Yokiro up as if there were no tomorrow, and unfortunately for him, there wasn’t a tomorrow. Someone came into his house and stuffed MattAY’s face into his pile of Yokaine. Well, his heart ‘sploded, and the intruder stole the remaining supply of Yokaine. You can’t just leave awesome stuff like that lying around.

Also, jc00l was kidnapped by zombies (ejected). He was in the Mafia.

MattAY was a doctor.

A definite blow against the townies. My guess is that the Vigilante killed MattAY under Yokiro's dying wish (to skip the process of voting to lynch him the next day), and it turns out that that was definitely the wrong person to kill. That or the Mafia just got really lucky, but something tells me they wouldn't want to kill MattAY since we would probably lynch him the next day and be a freebie kill for the Mafia (just like every other innocent lynching). So this makes me believe the Vigilante killed MattAY, obviously not knowing his status. And the only potential evidence that I can find is that Trippysmurf came up with the idea to lynch MattAY in Yokiro's name. However, this proves nothing, and for all we know he is a townie with the intent to help, and he is just in the wrong place at the wrong time. This lack of evidence means that I am not going to vote to lynch anyone, at least not right now. I need more evidence for this one. We have lost the doctor, a cop, and several townies. We can't afford to keep slaughtering innocent townies.

okay Ghost, this looks to be your last day now we've lost the doctor. I suggust you give out everything you know so far. It can narrow down the remaining mafia. We will still have the godfather to go after that but there's not much we can do with that.

We will have one cop left but they need to lay low until they get a real lead. And we can't risk not sharing what the cops know now when that last cop could be hit anytime by random hits or lynches.

Oh fun, I've never had lynch votes against me. I would prefer to be lynched then hit again.

Sometimes being smart means being quite and following directions. I've been laying low and very surprised not to have been killed by now. I think that is to make me a good scapegoat for the godfather.

But keep in mind my voting history, I have only lynched mafia, why? Because I have been following the cops direction. I have never questioned Ghost's directions.

I think my last suggustion is the best thing for the townspeople. However I am worried about ghost not being around to give us details before the night.

I am against random lynching at this stage, not until we are either out of cops or only have the godfather to go.

Ask yourself, how well has your lynching gone so far when you havnt waited for the cops.

Lynch Rekkie. His desperate attempt to point out his lynching of Mafia makes me believe he 'joined the bandwagon' after he realised that his bretherin were going to die.

That way, he could say "Lol, but i waz lynch bad gais!" (or the good spelling equivalent)

I hate dieing. I was tyring to stay suspicious so the Mafia wouldn't kill me overnight - why I did dodgy lynches haha!

Is it just me, or whenever I get an email telling me that this topic has received a reply, I read it as Mafia Vs. Extravaganza, implying some sort of never-ending battle between the Mafia and a counter-unit named Extravaganza.

Like Anonymous or some shit.

May I draw everyones attention to page 9.

Ghost (the fairly much proven cop at that stage) says to vote Hex. I am only the 3rd to agree with him. Right after that Tyrranis votes to lynch Ghost, and I try and set him straight.

Those 3 posts in a row there tell a story. Do you think I was joining a bandwagon or setting the trend?

On page 11 Tyrranis votes to lynch Shaft. The movement fails but it is later revealed Shaft is a townie.

On page 12 Tyrranis wanted to kill Wes, who was already dead and already proven a townie. Tyrranis then switched to vote Rain without any reason.

Now here we are on page 14 and Tyrranis wants to lynch me.

Just look at my posts, I have supported the lynching that the cops have lead, I have been against the random lynchings that kill off our townspeople.

I am not going to vote to lynch you because I have a plan. I think it would be very wise for the cops to check out Tyrranis. If he's checks out clean then he's my number 1 suspect for the godfather. But we don't need to worry about the godfather right now...we have more too lose from random killings.

Every night the mafia kill off someone who's not mafia or the godfather. Every night the cops check another person to find out if they are mafia. The longer we go on the more we find out. We can make informed decisions at the end when we know what the cops have found. We lynch the mafia members we find as we go.

I have to agree with Rekkie on this one. I have had my suspicions of Tyr for some time now.

Rekkie definitely brings up 2 good points.

1. Ghost, you know as well as everyone you are at the top of the Mafia's hit list. You should tell us how everyone you scanned came up. Even if you found no Mafia members, telling us who is innocent will prevent us from lynching them and narrow the selection of possible Mafia members.

2. Looking back, Tyrranis does have a shady voting record. I never gave it much thought, but at the moment, he looks like our number one suspect. It looks like he is basically screwed though. If he turns up dirty, he will be lynched, and if he turns up clean, he could still be the Godfather, and will still probably be lynched at some point.

However I think a different course of action should be taken. I say that the last remaining cop scans someone else, and that the vigilante goes after Tyrranis tonight. I think it is pretty obvious he will be lynched at some point, so we might as well just have the vigilante snuff him out and have the other cop scan someone else.

Or, we could just lynch Ty right now. He definitely warrants it with his spontaneous and erratic voting habits. There is still the risk that Ty is innocent, but I can't fathom how an innocent townie would vote to lynch so many people with no base behind it. He even tried to lynch the only known cop. That doesn't seem like innocent behavior. And if he is innocent, he is definitely not smart.
