No, I said that Wonder Woman sucks, and she really does.

She definitely sucks in cosplay porn.

I would also like to give a very late LOL to paradox since I did not catch his April Fool's joke until now. And seeing how we're in the second half of April, I was indeed fooled lol.

If I can fool just one person Wicked, then I've accomplished my goal.

Here's what I have for this week.

While the greenlight has yet to be issued, it looks like ABC and Marvel are going to go ahead with a series based on Agent Peggy Carter and the formative days of SHIELD. Hayley Atwell is set to return to the role. I'm interested to see how this plays out. I'd like to see characters like the Howling Commandos show up. Arnim Zola, Baron Zemo, even Winter Soldier. So many film actors are doing tv these days, get Tommy Lee Jones to come back.
Agent of SHIELD looks to be returning for a second season as well.

The comic series Scalped is going to be adapted for television to air on WGN, a channel I'd never heard of until recently. If you're not familiar with Scalped, here's a synopsis: The story follows an undercover F.B.I. agent named Dashiell Bad Horse, who returns to the reservation to infiltrate a crime organization run by casino boss Lincoln Red Crow, who is also the President of the Oglala Tribal Council and Sheriff of the Tribal Police. Bad Horse is pulled into a world of crime, drug addiction, murder, double crosses, and everything in between as he confronts his own past in the course of trying to solve both old and new mysteries.

Fox and filmmaker Matthew Vaughn will be bringing the comic Superior to the big screen. If you're not familiar with Superior, here's a synopsis: Simon Pooni, an angry, bitter 12-year-old boy suffering from multiple sclerosis, idolizes superheroes, particularly Superior, a Superman analogue. An alien monkey named Ormon appears at Simon's bedside, informing the boy that of all the people on Earth, he has been granted the honor of being bestowed a single magic wish. Simon is then transformed into Superior. After playing the role of Superior for a week, he learns that Ormon is actually a demon incarnate, and he must sell his soul to the devil in order to remain as Superior.

Here's a little 30 second spot for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that has some action spots and the first glimpse of Splinter at about the 12 second mark.

While no film has been officially announced or greenlit, Channing Tatum has confirmed that he has met with producer Lauren Shuler Donner about the possibility of starring in an X-Men spin-off centered on Gambit. A few months ago, Donner revealed that Tatum would be her choice for a potential Gambit film. Tatum has already stated before that Gambit is his favorite X-Man and would love to play the role.

I'll preface this next entry by saying it had the potential to be a massive spoiler, but once the full details came out, that was no longer the case.

There was a big story circulating earlier this week that the X-Men would be featured in an after credits scene of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, despite the two properties belonging to different film studios. While not inaccurate, it has been clarified. Sony is featuring an X-Men: Days of Future Past scene due to contractual obligations between the studio's indie banner, Fox Searchlight, and director Marc Webb. Webb was contracted for a second film after 500 Days of Summer which he left to helm The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequels. To allow Webb out of the deal for a second film, Sony was required to advertise Fox's mutant sequel for free. So there's no crossover, it's basically just going to be a trailer for the new X-Men film after Spider-Man's credits.

And speaking of X-Men, when details of the film were coming out during production, I wasn't too crazy about what I was hearing with all the mutants being shoehorned in. But with each new trailer that comes out for Days of Future Past, I get more excited for it.

Composer Hans Zimmer, who scored all three of Christopher Nolan's Batman films, will return to score the Man of Steel sequel.

I'll leave you with a couple of things.
Here's a trailer for the upcoming DC animated movie Batman: Assault on Arkham.

A few years ago, there was a videogame based on The Flash in development for Xbox 360 and PS3, but the company, Bottlerocket Entertainment, went out of business and the game went with it. Here's some footage of the game with Flash zipping around Central City and ending up in front of a statue that appears to be of Jay Garrick.

You got me so excited for a spiderman/x-men film.

...then I kept reading :(

But I wish these damn studios would just get along. We need a Spiderman/X-Men film. Or a Wolverine VS Hulk movie. Or an ultimate team up movie featuring X-Men, Spider-man, Fantastic Four and The Avengers VS mother flipping Galactus.

Wanna see me destroy Longo's brain?

Is it true Apocalypse is more powerful than Thanos?
Will Man of Steel 2 also feature Dr.Doom?
Why is Wonder Woman the most popular character in DC?

Predominately theatrical actor Ray Fisher has been cast for the Man of Steel sequel as Victor Stone, aka Cyborg. It's not supposed to be for a large role, and it hasn't been said yet if he'll be full on Cyborg or just Victor Stone leading up to a transformation. Piece by piece, they keep laying the groundwork for a Justice League film.

So, they're putting in everyone into one movie already? Shame.

Though Cyborg is pretty cool, so that's fine by me.

Yeah, rather than take the time to lay a foundation for a DC cinematic universe, they're obviously fast tracking to try and catch up with Marvel.

I hope Ryan Reynolds cameos as Hal Jordan. Not that the Green Lantern movie was great by any stretch of the imagination, but this DC movie universe needs some continuity somewhere.

Strange how the next Man of Steel movie has so many characters in it. I think it's a bad call. They're just rushing what Marvel did in a long run.

I agree.

Ben Affleck as Batman is one thing. He deserves a chance just as Heath Ledger deserved a chance to fill Nicholson's shoes as Joker. But all these cameos feels like a bad X-Men film.

Instead of Man of Steel 2 this project should just be the beginning of a JL trilogy? I dunno.

Yeah, it feels like WB is desperately trying to play catch up, when they should be taking their time and making a bunch of different movies.

This isn’t movie news, but graphic designer Marcelo Rizzeto is crafting beers inspired by members of the Justice League. The Superman beer is a strong beer with a high alcohol content, Wonder Woman is a classic American Lager, The Flash is an red ale, Aquaman is a blond ale, Green Lantern is a green pale ale, and Batman of course is a dark ale.

In an official confirmation and announcement, Zack Snyder is locked to direct Justice League. He will begin work on it immediately after finishing up the Man of Steel sequel. I’d expect a release date of late 2017 or most likely summer 2018, but I’m sure more precise details will be revealed at Comic Con. Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Godot are expected to reprise their roles of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, and recently cast Ray Fisher should appear as Vic Stone/Cyborg. Two other possibilities for the film are Dwayne Johnson, who is set to play a so far unannounced character in a DC project, and Jason Momoa, while still an unconfirmed story, is said to have signed a contract with DC for a film.

In further DC movie news, Warner Bros is developing nine other DC Comic adaptations in addition to the Man of Steel sequel and Justice League. Not every one of them will be a part of the blossoming DC cinematic universe, however. Among those films are 100 Bullets and Metal Men, the Ben Affleck and Matt Damon helmed Sleeper, and most likely the Joseph Gordon-Levitt produced Sandman.

With the exception of Hulk’s two words of dialogue in The Avengers, Lou Ferrigno, Hulk of the late 70s and and 80’s, provided all his other sounds for the film. Ferrigno recently confirmed that he will return for The Avengers: Age of Ultron to provide voice effects for the character.

In a recent interview, Marvel Films head Kevin Feige says that Thanos will appear in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy. He says “There is an actor. I’m not sure we want to announce it yet.â€
