oh it's not the best part of the game yet. I played the Single Player four times already to see nuances in things, although the demo deliberately locked out dialogue options and responses to keep it under wraps...

Still, looks like a balanced game on both fronts still.

Yeah, I just have the single shot unlocked. If I had a different one, I'd probably like it more, and be a hell of a lot better.

I'm trying to decide if I want to play much more of it, or just wait for release. I don't want to burn myself out on the multiplayer, and have what I got count for nothing when the actual game comes out.

Finally beat Silver...

I can understand playing the single player demo four times, with all the different options.

Though I haven't played it at all. Partly because I don't want spoilers, partly because I don't want to play a thing that I'm just going to be playing again (with MY Shepard) when the game launches in a few weeks, but mostly because I haven't had time to play anything.

Played it on the PS3 and I really enjoyed it...Aside from the framerate.

Anyone know if it can import your character? I'd play it again on the 360 if it can.

Trying to find a CE for the 360 to pre order as well but all I've found so far that isn't sold out is on the PS3.

The framerate is bad on both consoles, and the game is poorly optimized on the PC version too.
Hopefully the full game will fix it, but considering it's already shipped it's either gonna be as laggy as the demo forever, or have a 1st week update to solve a bit of it.

Ive had the same issue Dan, But man, is it a real tension moment in the final stages of Gold. Getting through wave 8-11 there is so worth it.

The phantoms are the REAL threat on gold. They always come in pairs but the worst part is that they can kill you outright, no medigel or reviving. I've found that Stasis works really well on them, especially if you trap them and then headshot with a sniper rifle.

Personally, found the single player atrocious. Not digging the scripted "collapsing platfor-- OH GOD RUN FOR YOUR LIFE" scenarios. I'm glad to hear that the dialogue is purposely changed and whatnot though. Also every class can use every weapon... what.

However, I'm enjoying the hell out of multiplayer. Playing with a group of friends makes things run beautifully. if any of you guys want to tear some space shit up, I usually rock the sentinel class and would be down to play

I also have seen a high powered Overload help take down their barriers. Headshots work real good on them as does Shotgun blasting too.

Just unlocked my first non-human, Quarian Engineer.

I wish that when you unlocked these different job slots they would offer you the opportunity to reset the upgrades across the board. That way I could respec a solo striker and an area specialist and a utility, etc.

I have a feeling you can respec in the main game.

Leaving that out would be a major oversight.
