Assorted hooligans, I come to you...not as a lawman, but as a concerned citizen because...wait for it...
I believe I have figured out who the Don is! <pull out my pipe and inspector hat>
The don is none other than...
Lien!!! Now I know many of you will say, "Whaaaaat!?!" But I believe that his words thus far speak for themselves. Please allow me to use way too many quote boxes.
The first suspicious thing he said was to Kapow, after he revealed himself as a cop...
Lien said:
you won't last long the next night. uh... not that i am a mafioso.
Interesting that he would even infer that he was a Made Man, no? Especially in a town full of suspicious lynch-happy hooligans. It seems our Don likes to ride on the edge of life and feel the thrill of a close encounter. But he wasn't satisfied to leave it at just that, oh no. Later on, he escalated his taunting of Kapow, trying to taint our noble defender's honor. No longer satisfied with only infering involvement, he sought to place Kapow at the top of the murderous food chain.
Lien said:
unless... you are a mafia pretending to be a cop!... What if you're the don all along?
On top of that...umm, project much, Lien?
Next, my recently departed, esteemed colleague in the amateur fight against organized crime, MattAY, said...
Not saying that we should, but the only person who seemed to not lynch Longo was Lien...putting it out there. We could gamble or wait until Kapow scans him. But waiting is a gamble in itself!
Lien, responded by twisting his words to assert that implicating Lien deserved a lynching. Quite a violent reaction for a calm bystander, wouldn't you say. Later he tryed to mellow the harshness by saying...
Lien said:
I forgive you, Mattay. Unless you're really a mafia cause then you deserve to be hang.
Again, project much? Also, you shouldn't end an apology by saying something mean-spirited, it's just rude... Moving on!
Finally, he shows remorse to an Australian. Who does that, I mean, really? Moreover, he is showing remorse to a known mafioso, indicated again by Kapow. And once again...project much?
Lien said:
Lynch Madster. Sorry...
And i rrrreeeaaaaly hope Kapow isn't the don.
I think the evidence from our well-documented conversations speak for themselves. He made good on his threat and had MattAY offed. It's a good thing we keep such good track of everything we say.
If we could, I'd suggest a double lynch, but we don't have enough rope.
Until next week, I'll be hiding in a secure bunker somewhere in the desert. Gentleman and hooligans, I bid you adieu. <exit stage left>
