Grand Theft Auto 4 soundtrack.

So, lets make this topic more interesting, what songs would you put in GTA?

I think these would fit
Rapeman - Just Got Paid (ZZ top cover)
The Damned - Neat Neat Neat, or 1 Of The 2
The Velvet Underground - I'm Waiting For The Man
The Clash - I Fought The Law (Bobby Fuller 4 cover)
Dead Kennedys - Moon Over Marin
The Stooges - 1970

Good call lentium.

I'd really have liked to see any or all of the following. If i could make a mp3 radio station i'd put...

Kyuss - Supa Scoopa and Mighty Scoop
Iggy and the stooges - Search and destroy
808 state - pacific state
Oscar peterson - yours is my heart alone
Aphex twin - windowlicker
The Beatles - Back in the U.S.S.R (simply for rockin' relevance)

Tool - The Pot
Kraftwerk - The Model
Coheed and Cambria - Ten Speed (of god's blood and burial)
Jimmy Edgar - Check out my gold tooth
The Commodores - Too Hot Ta Trot

Oh how much I hate Kayne West.

Same here, but if you skip his rapping part and listen to the chorus by Dwele ("As I recall, I know you love to show of...), "Flashing Lights" is actually surprisingly good song and fits very well into GTA4.

At the moment, the game says that my favorite radio station is Journey.

And why do we all hate Kayne West? Because he is an extremely successful Black man who suckers white kids into buying his albums? I'd say he is a fucking bloody genius.

That has nothing at all to do with why Kayne West sucks. He has a big, bloated ego, says stupid shit, and his music is all terrible.

DL closed a bunch of GTA4 topics.

Does anyone else think that Iggy Pop was a great choice for the rock station. Not Axl Rose great, but great nonetheless.

DL is of no use to this forum and should be demodded now, as he's a surplus leftover of TNO's mistakes that noone will admit were. That's all.

Also yeah, the stooges absolutely rule. I'd really have liked to see Search and Destroy instead of I wanna be your dog though, it just seems more rockin for those high speed chases, and more fitting for...well...blowing shit up.

I noticed in one of the other topics someone was saying the music in the game must of been low-budget because they hadn't heard a lot of the songs on there. I enjoy it, as if it was a song I already liked I would of played it on my ipod to death anyway. I like I'm hearing something new.

With so many songs in the game, even after 30 hours of playtime I still come across new songs.

Do many of you guys just listen to a handful of radio stations? 90% of the time I leave the station as it is when I get into a car so I get to hear as much different stuff as possible.

Lmao. No way low budget - especially as they licensed so much hip hop. Very difficult to license because of all the samples etc....Not worth it in my opinion, I don't care for that much hip hop of the kind that they focus on.

I know most of the songs on here anyway, so at the moment i flip between the jazz station for some tunes and news and lazlow's chat. God he's gone mad in this one.
