Yeah, we've had discussions about this in our schools Gov' teachers room. Basically, as soon as we set foot in the school, we have our rights limited and what-not. But I'm not stupid, I don't do stuff like that, and if I did, I wouldn't be dumb enough to bring it to school.

Nope. You have no rights if you are under 18. That's what a lot of kids don't understand.

Especially if you are on public school property.

Yes, but technically, isn't everything you have owned by your parents?


I know i can't actually give our (Aus) police permission to search anything that would normally require a warrant or an arrest, because my parents have to..


Also, i do agree that anyone taking drugs to school is an idiot, but it still seems a little..i dunno, wrong to me that the school -not police- can force you to empty your pockets and go through your locker. That's just bullshit.

The only thing you could do is refuse to empty your pockets, because they're not legally allowed to touch you.

In this scenario though, it was a joint effort between school faculty and police. They had sniffer dogs and some kids even got pulled out of class and to their cars if they suspected that's where the drugs were. One girl who is in our schools student council and a bunch of drug teams had that happen to her just because her car matched the description of a drug dealers car they heard about, and she couldn't do anything about it but prove she was innocent.

JCD was my first comrade! So he's my Best Poster. And dont tell Nicki, but I'm the reason he has to sit on a cushion. What can I say? Man-love is in the air.

I always saw them as harmless fun, but thats me.

I must ask though, people please nominate TheDiesel and Ivory Soul for best reviewer, Let them have a chance at winning it because they do deserve it.
