Part of me wishes Ricky Gervais would just say eff it and come in as David Brent. It will never happen and most would be put off by it but a guy can dream.

This. He was fantastic in the cameo and he'd bring so much to he US version.

Jim Carrey should have had more of a cameo

Yeah, that was really disappointing. I absouletly love Jim Carrey and was let down that he was only in it for 12 seconds. If he wasn't advertised for the finale it would've made a great surprise.
