I am a Mavs homer and I am proud of it.

I have been a Mavs fan since the day of the Three J's. (Jason, Jim, Jamal)

I am rooting for the Mavs and really believe we have a strong chance of winning the series despite tonights poor showing. I promise you though, the lil general will have his troops ready for game 5. I can sense it.

Here's some pure bullshit for you: http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/5702240?FSO1&ATT=HMA

Stackhouse suspended for Game 5

At the time, Stackhouse was called for a flagrant foul. But after reviewing the play and discussing the details with both players, league vice president Stu Jackson opted to upgrade the punishment to a suspension.

It was a hard foul.. a flagrant foul, but nothing more. Certainly not worthy of a suspension in the NBA Finals. Seriously, that's fukced. But why? Well that's when it gets interesting, that's when the politics come into play.
Micky Arison, the Chief Executive Officer of Carnival Corporation & plc, and owner of the Miami Heat basketball team made a move to get Stackhouse suspended, seriously.
Because Micky Arison is also the chairman of the NBA Board of Governors.
The NBA (owners) and Marc Cuban have never really agreed.. (over $1 million paid in fines, and counting).., and with this suspension coming a whole day later, after there being no call for anything more than a flagrant foul during the point and time, in the NBA Finals(!), we're left with this dirty answer: Politics and Sports fukcing suck >:[

Neither the Miami Heat nor the Dallas Mavericks have ever won the NBA Finals championship series.

I don't get it. Dwyane Wade falls down eight times, gets up nine. Shaq falls once and Stack is suspended. bs

I watched the highlight of stackhouse hitting shaq and from the view point of basketball, it was pretty vicious. In terms of hockey, that was a pansy hit. But it's basketball, and he rocked shaq. I don't mind seeing a suspension.

But take into consideration that Shaq is a big boy, when he falls down people are gonna notice. But so what? It's Shaq, he can fall too! But when he's beating up the Mavs, whether that's elbowing Nowitzki or busting open Stacks nose with an open palm to the face (in which Stackhouse had to get stiches at halftime), nothing is called. The Mavs won't even look for that hard foul call.
The Heat? theyre pussies.

Look at it from that angle.

He clearly got the ball and didnt tackle him, just body collided, that play is suspected on a fast break and he is the only guy back with a poor free throw shooter laying it up, a soft fall, it is a +1, you got to give a hard foul to make sure he doesnt make the basket

Look at that picture, PURE face, no ball. It was game 1, no league review, no fine, no suspension.

And A Miami defender got a 1 game suspension for this foul earlier in the playoffs.

Raja Bell got a 1 game suspension for this foul

Really, are the plays comparable? Look at them and compare. Raja and Posey each got no ball, pure body contact, with intend to harm. Stack gave a hard foul to stop a layup that a poor free throw shooter was putting up. Bad call Stu Jackson

Well that was crazy. I think think the Mavs will come out on top, the heat have done nothing to show me they can win in Dallas.

OH SNAP

Heat take the 2006 NBA Championship trophy!

Quite a finals indeed. I must give credit to wade, I didn't think he had it in him.

refs

if anybody pays any attention to the playoffs know that the refs raped everybody.and no not everyone had the same calls on them.for example the suns lakers series, at the end of one of the games steve nash had the ball and was clearly calling timeout and the ref called jumpball.and obviously lakers got the ball and kobe made that amazing shot.but the point is the refs suck big balls and there needs to be replays on questionable calls at least in the playoffs, its to important then.
