XCOM - Enemy Unknown

Bump...had to...spent the entire weekend playing this...waiting to get off work to spec out my assault with some ghost armor and an alloy cannon. Moved away from shotties because too many victims but with ghost armor, a hover shiv, and shottie going to put in some work on those damn mutons....also this will hopefully be a key to effectively destroying sectopods...why do they rain death so well.
 
yeah l have been taking them out with double tap and squad sight. sending in a heavy to hunker down and distract and to acquire target and 2 double taps from 2 snipers usually takes them down. started using a heavy as a ghost to sneak up and if the snipers miss then hit them with the plasma cannon and heat rounds. just a bit annoying when they are found in close quarters on a ship and are surrounded by drones, heavy floaters, heavy mutons, and muton elites then the cat and mouse ensues...and kill room tactics prevail even if the luring takes a while
