No not really, BUT you can completely control your entire party which you can't in FES

Plus, there's FeMC

FES and P3P are both good in their own ways, for sure. P3P has some better combat, but you don't get to go between weapon types. However, you do get to block, control your team, etc.

And P3P lacks the ability to move around freely when not in Tartarus. I'm pretty sure there's some side stuff gone as well.

Do the Etrian Odyssey games have a congruent story line? Or is it possible to start with 3?

You can start at 3.

Hell no! Track down the entire trilogy. The second and third improve on the previous installments in terms of map-making and the accessibility of getting into the series overall. Once you start with the third, it'll be harder to get into the first and second. It's possible to start with 3 but start with 1. It's Atlus and you know they make the best kickass RPGs ever.

And the story lines are separate.

Yeah but those games are hard to find unless you want to track them down 100 miles.

Almost done with Dead Space 2, great game and I've liked the series so far. If you like RE then I'd recommend the Dead Space games, similar style but definitely not a copy. I have two or three more chapters to beat then I'm finished. Probably going to rent Dante's Inferno before renting Max Payne 3.

Pre-ordered Ghost Recon Future Soldier and been playing the beta, great game and honestly the all the tech they've added doesn't make the game unfair. Though Ubisoft needs to do some serious work on the servers and etc. I know it's beta and that's how betas are but wouldn't hurt to fix it.

Also I'm most likely going to buy Torchlight for X360 after work, I played the trial because my suitemate was playing the Diablo 3 beta and I wanted to play something like D3. I really liked what I played and I've never played a Diablo game before so I wouldn't have to worry about comparing it to anything. Anybody play Torchlight? Worth buying?

I've heard really good things about torchlight. I actually have it, but just have been too busy to get to it. Plus I have a huge backlog of games anyways.

I've played SWAT 4 and yeah it was pretty fun especially if you co-op with a couple of buddies. Although, it's pretty tough... to the point where I just say "fuck it" then set it on easy and wipe out the map Death Wish style. Did your version came with "The Stetchkov Syndicate"?

I played the shit out of Swat 3 and bought Swat 4 on it's release day. I have wasted so many hours in the multiplayer. Co-Op mostly, but VIP escort is darn fun too.

For some reason I never really played Stechkov syndicate and it's multiplayer has always been on it's deathbed. Only real thing to it is the punch mechanic, but I don't really see it fitting for an officer. Gets the tough guys on their knees easily.

KOA: Reckoning. Only 10 hours in and haven't touched the main story. So far so good!
