Are you asking about the difference between 12 and 12 International? Because the Japanese base game of FF12 is the same thing everyone got.

But FF12 also got in "International" version with an entirely new job system. You picked from White Mage, Red Mage, Lancer, Time Mage, Knight, Samurai, etc. for each character, from the beginning right when you got that character. Each one had their own unique license board.

I tried to get into 12 but I couldn't. I really liked the setting, the whole... sorta like Star Wars thing, I thought that was cool, I just had trouble getting into the game as I didn't really enjoy the combat system.

That and I hated Vaan.

Yeah i picked him the least, i think he was just level... 25? when i was at the last boss. I pretended Basch and Balthier were the main characters.
