What are ya playing?

Is it even a question whether or not I'm getting it? Because of Game Informer and the knowledge of calendars, my five year-old has been non-stop in suggesting this as a b-day present.

Been playing GR:FS and MAx Payne 3. Though I am planning Max Payne 3 soon, I thinking of renting Mass Effect 3 next but lately I haven't gamed a lot so I might postpone that. Anybody know of any good games for the 360 that are worth trying out? Just assume I haven't played it. I was also considering giving Far Cry 2 another shot because of how much De-Ting and Nick talked about it

You've pretty much got everything you should be playing right there. Ghost Recon is great, but I have a feeling it won't perform too well in the market.

Been playing a lot of Civ 5 lately. Haven't had much time for anything else due to long hours at work and a looming deadline on a piece of music I'm writing right now.

I was playing Persona 3 FES but Relic came around and beat the crap out of my party with Garula and Hit-All Wind attacks.
Gonna need that healing combo to kick him to the curb. And someone Wind-Resistant.

I think I'll spend a bit of time with StarCraft II today. I haven't played it in ages.

I've been playing a couple games of Nexus Wars lately. Pretty fun custom game that doesn't require you to be Korean to be any good.

Well that's good to know, because I am definitely not that good haha. I'm just running through the campaign again at the moment.

Guess who just got their first plat?

My boys. They hunted down every last bottle on Sly Cooper 1 HD and it paid them off with a shiny plat trophy. It didn't even require them to get all the speed runs done!

That's awesome, Bret. I have to admit, some parts of that game have given me trouble.

Now, if you can handle your kids not trophy-hunting for you, have them play some classic Spyro or Crash Bandicoot Warped.
