Streaming

Hey UghRochester, green screens are honestly not that expensive. You can get them online for relatively cheap prices. Maybe a hundred bucks or so?

You'd need decent video editing software to utilize a green screen... if you don't have them already:

Link to all the Adobe CS2 software (including Premiere Pro and After Effects) for free. You'll need to sign up to Adobe though.

The key to a decent green screen is lighting... I dunno if you already know how to do it or not but if you need help, let me know. :)

LOL! I think you need to read the previous posts, Craig. Also, here's the way you can make a pretty good screen very cheaply by going to a dollar store or Wal-Mart. Buy green poster boards, tape them together with green duct tape and boom! Yeah, lighting is the main factor. I would make a green screen and buy lights, but I'm not really going to go that far into broadcasting my games.

And if you want to know my setup for streaming, I use OBS and my Elgato, which you can get it for almost $30 cheaper on Amazon. OBS has chroma key, which is the main reason why I mentioned this. If some of you have any questions on how I make my streams pretty sharp and great looking, feel free to ask.

Urban, you trained me well, but it is time for the student to become the master. I applied for Partner program on Twitch. While I could make revenue from this, it's not the reason why I'm applying for it. I'm applying, because partners get automatic transcoding. I love streaming in 720p, but some peoples' bandwidth can't download that fast. So, this automatic transcoding will let viewers be able to change the quality. I know Ustream has this as well, but I never had that on Ustream.

Anyways, wish me luck.

I'm going to be streaming Destiny on PS4 soon. I should be streaming for the next 3 hours or so. If you don't want to watch the stream, that's cool, but I would really enjoy followers. It's about the money in hopes of being a Twitch partner (I'll just donate half if not all it and giveaways with it), it's more that fact I love socializing with viewers and people can't handle 1080p. That automatic transcoding let's view lower the quality.

Please follow :(

^ I just signed up to Twitch under user name Cr33g. I've never used Twitch and to be honest I probably won't use it much, but you've got yourself another follower, Ugh.
