*backhand of justice for Stalio*

So I've got a few photos from my work Christmas party that was held in Chinatown!

Lion Dances! They were so great!

Until they tried to eat us!

This is only half of the table, I'm the one in the bright pink.

True story, my friends and I were planning a vacation in Austrilla this summer. Then we realized it'll be winter there when we go.... :(

So we're gonna try to plan one next winter.

Enigma... let the man's stash be...

Also- UGHRochester... thank you for the new Sig... the thought of that actually happening is so priceless I had to keep it sanctified for the next few months.

But if that doesn't get your attention then......Who really cares if they grinded me and called my hotel room? I guess.

P.S I do say i was a little rough

Looks kinda like McLovin, you know the part.. 'It's in!'

McLovin' is so awesome. "It's in! Oh my God it's in!"

and yeah. No offense UghRochester but I have to say this in absolute honesty while trying to be nice and respectful about it. It kind of sounds like you're trying to brag that these girls danced (or "grinded") with you at some dance thing, and I honestly don't think that's going to impress anyone on this forum. It just sounds like you're trying to make yourself seem more cooler and attractive. :P You shouldn't have to feel like you have to "prove" yourself to such things or anything. :P

but er, anyway. I've got a couple of photos to throw your way, guys.

Me again (I've posted this before) with my ugly mug. :P

Now me wearing a Darth Vader voice changing helmet!

CraigVaderfull.jpg

Here's me at my friend's 21st - which was a villains and heroes themed dress up party. I went as a dodgy version of Darth Vader... holy hell the flash of the camera makes me look pale as. Anyway. I'm trying to pelvic thrust in my pose. I only had a few things of the costume - gloves, helmet, cape, and a plastic red lightsaber. Wasn't wearing the gloves though 'cuz they were awkward. I came with a "minimal" costume because it was hot that night, didn't want to overheat myself plus the entire costume would have cost me quite a bit.

At some point in the night we had a vote for best hero and villain (we couldn't vote for ourselves). I won best villain, while some guy I didn't know won best hero for dressing up as Monkey Magic. My prize was this cool skeleton looking beer mug. :D

Cool. Does the voice changing device actually work well? I would probably spend a full day trying to tint the eyes.

Yeah.. the eyes were kinda annoying. People could see my eyes which kinda ruined the helmet in a way. The voice changing thing is... okay. Problem is it isn't loud enough - the speaker is on the chest piece and when you speak, that's where your changed voice comes from, but your actual voice seems to be naturally louder than it, so it's like two voices talking at once while your normal voice is the louder one.

but there are cool buttons which do the breathing noises and other Vader quotes, they're really loud - I pissed people off that night spamming the breathing button while we were playing hero/villain celebrity heads. :P

[Edit] Just remembered, the eyes kinda fogged up after a while so it got difficult to see. Because the weather/temperature was warm, it was pretty hot underneath the helmet and at times, a little hard to actually breathe. >_<

Kel that old boring looking guy beside you better not be your man! What does he have that I don't?!

Hoo-ah. Went skydiving today. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Sorry for the crap quality - they are screencaps from the DVD they gave me.

@ around 6,000 feet (it was a 10,000 foot jump)

It's about now that you start thinking "What the f*** am I doing up here?"
pdvd021rb9.jpg

...and then you jump. The first look out the window is the worst, but it gets heaps better really fast.

In freefall.
pdvd027tc9.jpg

Heh heh. I laffed at this one.
pdvd034pp5.jpg

I got to take the reins of the chute here. We did a couple of spins, and it was so much fun.
pdvd035vo2.jpg

I like this one. This was taken at about 1000 feet off the ground.

Coming in to land.

Congratulations! You flung yourself earthward, and missed!

I cannot begin describe how much of a rush this was. The whole time I was grinning like an idiot. I also lost my plane virginity - that is, it was the first time I've ever been in a plane. My mate who is training to be a pilot actually got nauseous - kind of ironic, but he enjoyed it just as much as I did.

I'm planning on going again when I graduate from uni - four agonizing years. In reality, I'll probably go sooner :P

Rofl, yes the flat head is my partner. I'm sorry, I just don't think I could do the whole igloo gig!

And Hoomfire.... AWESOME PICS! Looks like great fun! Fuck doing that ever!

Hoomfie that looks ace. I would hate that, I'm not an extreme man...I'm a sitting-comfortably-on-my-sofa man

I actually get vertigo at small heights - yet I want to take up rock climbing when I go off to uni. Skydiving is a completely different experience - and is actually safer than driving your car. (More fun too).

But, on the other hand, sofas do have that innate charm about them. :)

Egads man! If you can, come on the arse end of summer, when things start to cool down. 45 degrees C (~115 F) days are not fun, even if you are at the beach or whatever. But, y'know, maybe that's cool with you (ba dum pish). Surfer's Paradise and the Gold Coast are great places to go if you are looking for a summer holiday. Queensland is akin to Florida AFAIK.
