Let's post some pictures! (Of yourself or..Whatever else.)

First of all Craig, thats BS! I wore that shirt to work and nothing happened. You should make an Etsy page for it if you can, my only advice would be to put it on a tougher quality shirt because mine stretched around the neck and now its not reverting back :(

I totally IS worth it I'm calling BS on the legal action because people parody Star Wars shirts and other Disney stuff all the time and don't get legal threats.

Case and point

Its most likely a troll who is going to try to sell your shirt - maybe you can try to sell the design to Threadless!

Hey Urban, thanks for the feedback man, I appreciate it. I'm sorry to hear about the quality of the shirt itself... nothing I can do about that to be honest, that's all Red Bubble and how they manufacture their shirts. Regardless - sorry to hear that.

I'll check out Etsy, as well as Threadless, they both sound promising.

De-Ting dropped "The Yetee" too, so I'll have to investigate that as well.

I appreciate everyone's kind comments and their feedback I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this whole thing is BS. :(

Skills, brah. ;)

So at work there's uh... not a lot going on at the moment. Shouldn't be doing this but I sketched this up in a few quick minutes. I don't like it.

It's based off a character design of mine but I tried to redesign it with a different costume, inspired by Link (farm boy outfit in Twilight Princess) and the Prince of Persia (2008 game) but honestly, I don't like it.

Might try again soon or something.

I like it but I don't feel like any of the clothing has any weight. It all puffs out in several direction so I don't know where the movement is.

I agree, and I think that's why I don't like it. I think as you said, there's no real weight to his gear and it kinda seems to be going all over the place. Maybe if they were more realistic (as well as the general pose and body proportions) I might like it better.

Found some old drawings I would like to share.

Drew this one earlier last year, it's my interpretation of Scorpion and Sub Zero from Mortal Kombat.

Now to embarrass myself... here's a picture I drew of Ryu from Street Fighter when I was seven years old, drawn back in 1995.

HADOUKEN.

At first glimpse, I thought Scorpion and Sub-Zero were sharing a couple of hot cups of tea. Seriously though, outstanding detail.

Thanks man, appreciate that. :)

I did a bit of further investigation into my original "Datass Effect" shirt being pulled by Redbubble. Turns out it had nothing to do with Bioware.

There's a company called "Phresh Stickers", and they have actually trade marked the term "datass" in 2012. Because they have it legally trade marked, they filed a complaint about my "Datass Effect" shirt and thus, that's why it got pulled from Redbubble.

Load of shit.

I recently bought some "Chameleon" pens, alcohol based double-ended pens with Japanese brushes. The idea of these pens is that they can do cool stuff like toning and shading. I bought a deluxe pack for about $149.95, originally I bought them for my girlfriend as she is very much into traditional art and wants to one day write a children's book. I thought I would give the pens a go myself.

The pens are quite challenging to use, a bit of a learning curve. I'm not very good with them but I've only been experimenting with them for the past few days. They work very similar to that of water colour.

Batman!

Here's some line art I did. This is of the protagonist of my comic book idea. The pose and angle is pretty generic.

And here it is coloured. I couldn't be arsed doing the background.

Glad you like them, Urban! I think they're okay... the last picture, I wish I was a bit more creative with the pose and angle. I have a lot better ideas now.

Honestly the colouring isn't that great but that's my fault and lack of experience with these new pens. It just means I have to keep practicing!

Glad you like them. :)

I was going to say the colouring looks great! Wouldn't notice it was your first time using them, you shaded it really well. Which pens are they?

If you can be arsed, colour the sky - that will look great!

Hey MattAY, thanks man I appreciate that.

I used what's called Chameleon pens - http://www.chameleonpens.com/ - they're basically like texter/markers and are similar to water colour, but they're actually alcohol based pens that have the ability to do things like blending, toning etc. The link I've put down has a video which shows how they work.
