I also don't like that for all his pretty and fine talk, Obama has yet to say once HOW he is going to do it. Not to mention most of his promises aren't new, and won another bad president an election back in '92. Notice middle class taxes didn't go down back then either.....

Other folks have dealth with the false ACORN allegations, so I'm going to deal with this. To wit: What the fuck are you talking about? He's elaborated on his positions and what he would try to do as much as anybody can be expected to on the campaign trail. No nominee with half of a brain in his skull is going to bind himself to a point-by-point plan with numbers on any issue that might change by the time he reaches office. And even if he gets in and the situation is exactly the same, he's going to have to argue and compromise about it with potentially somewhere around 535+ people. Obama is doing exactly what he's supposed to do: Giving enough details to indicate what he's planning to do without tying himself to a plan that might be obsolete by the time he's in office.

And on a more important note--I'm going to put this in red font because I'll particularly relish watching you sputter through it--exactly how has McCain been more specific about his plans?

Spreading slander, right or wrong, is still free speech. Getting thrown in jail for saying something against someone, right or wrong, is f***** up. In fact, being that you are a liberal (base word: LIBERTY), that's double wrong. That's police state mentality. Go live in Russia if you're fine with that. Me, I'll take my free speech and say what I want, true or not.
