Had a "career development" conversation with my boss... went well!

Damn. Wish I got that. Congratulations, man. :)

I'm just starting my work day, so I'll talk about yesterday...

Honestly, nothing grand happened. I came in and had a normal day of work. Nothing too exciting.

- Started work at 7:30 AM, left the office at 4 PM
- Edited some videos, exported a lot more
- Filmed two people delivering scripted testimonials via teleprompter
- Received changes on another project, began to work on those
- Did some practice with the Canon 5D Mk III DSLR

When I read my list, it sounds nice and I shouldn't be complaining, but I do have my reasons, which I won't get into here.

On Tuesdays I don't have class, so I work part time at my dad's office because they usually need the help.

Turns out they didn't today, so I went right home. So that was nice.

Almost forgot about this today.

Check your bookshelf and pick a book at random. What is it, and is it any good? - HK-47

The Golem's Eye, book 2 in the Bartimaeus trilogy.

I never finished it. Really liked the first one, but I think video games became the center of my free time right about when I started this one.

I'll have to do this one at home. No books on my shelf here at work. I have a stack of DVDs though? No entertainment, it's all educational and training resources that we've made.

The Sea-Wolf by Jack London. It's a great novel with many exciting accidents and events at sea. It really heats up around the mutiny aboard Wolf Larsen's schooner. I personally like it better than Moby Dick, which, in all honesty, is a really tough read without a dictionary on hand.

I have no bookshelf, but I do have a game shelf. I closed my eyes and reached hoping I would grab something great. Kinect Star Wars coincidentally.

Top shelf, Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None". One of her best and one of my favorites, right up there with "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd". Even the game was good.
