JEEEEZZZ 350 a month. man im moving there! whats the rate for krones to dollars? and is this calculation in krones or dollars?

Actually the Danish Krone (there are more than one Krone) is getting beaten because of the finacial crisis, so we are considering changing to Euro (our economy is already fixated on the Euro).
Before the finacial crisis there went 4.8 DKR pr. 1 USD, now it is 5.7 DKR pr. 1 USD, I have calculated all the things in my post to USD from DKR.

My apartment is actually not a special student one (which you can apply for if you're a student, and they are even cheaper).

The apartment has 3 rooms (we actually signed up for 4 rooms, but the waiting list was about 1½ years for those).
It is 77 square meter (~829 square foot)
The kitchen is almost brand new (a few years old).
We took it over from an old lady that had not lived there for the past 1½ year, because her health did not allowed it, and she was eventually put on a home.
The entire apartment was painted before we moved in (not on our cost).
We had 14 days before we moved in, to report anything that was broken, and needed repairing.
And we had to call in an electrician (which we did not pay for either).

This is not some sort of project building, not govern own. Private owned.
The offices for those that own this place is, is about a mile away.

I found a translation of what it is called: housing association
A company that deals with lending out houses and apartments.

Where I used to live. (about 2 miles east from my current place) :)

The entire city where I live. (Which is less than a mile from the 5th Largest city in Denmark)

Which is across the bridge :)

Aalborg, and Ní¸rresundby if you're interrested in place names :)

I like your jacket Shane.

Shane, don't you think it's odd how we all call you by your real name and you don't know ours? Well, you probably know a couple, but still it's very odd.

And Tylzen, it's too bad you couldn't get a bedroom cause it'd be moving in with you. And pay $350 rent... because that's how much ONE ROOM costs in Toronto...

I couldn't help but notice how your face is super white, and yet, the rest of your body is nicely tanned.

Photoshop shenanigans?

Edit: Am I the only one who finds it strange that humans bare their teeth like pitbulls to display happiness?

Or that listening to different individuals laugh sounds like the odd mating calls of strange exotic birds?

Probably so.

Ty what percentage of people there speak english? And how hard is it to learn your native tongue.

The danish language are one of the hardest languages in the word to learn, the phonology is crazy, and so if the grammar.

I think about 90% or so understands english, and are able to speak it at some degree.
We have ads in english, and a lot of stores use english signs.
And we also say "cheeseburger" when we order at McDonald's

You might have Ben Affleck, we have Viggo Mortensen :-P
