Ingredients of the perfect game

    So, I was taking a stroll around the internet (and yes I stroll, I'm sure the peripheral for that will be out soon too) and I came across this http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...od+video+game&ei=QJx9SJjjHov0qQOLvLCaBQ&hl=en

    I thought it was interesting, but I thought that it left out one crucial, crucial quality - Story. I think story makes up a large part of the video game (even if it is over the top). That is why a lot of us play video games. By becoming a goofy ninja or a little elf boy, we get to be what we always wanted(?)

    What do you think makes the best video game? Is it all really just gameplay?[/code]

    Intrigue and smooth controls. The story has to keep you wanting more, and if the controls aren't responsive and well layed out...forget it.
