Console (and Game) That Made You Become a Gamer

Well, my dads Atari and Burger Factory is my earliest memory. I started playing that non stop with my dad so they got me a NES. It's very hard for me to say just 1 console and game, because every console had that handful of games that kept me goin as my childhood was rather rough (father was in and out of the hospital due to cancer)

NES

Mario Bros w/ Duck Hunt
River City Ransom
Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers

Sega Gen.

Sonic Series / Knuckles
Altered Beast

N64

Mario 64
Goldeneye 64
Starfox
any WWF / WCW game!

PlayStation

FF7 / FF8 / FF9 / FFT

Then I got a PC

Diablo 1 and 2
StarCraft and Broodwar
Ultima Online .. which later lead me into heavy MMO.. EQ / SWG (pre NGE) and WoW

I played a lot more games than that, but those are the 'core' to each console I've ever owned.. though I have a 360 I won't bother with that.

i played alot of games before i truly loved games and actually payed attention to them.

but the games that got me into all of it was Half Life and Counter Strike 1.3

For me it was Goldeneye on 64 (Proximity Mines on Complex anyone? :D), and I kinda got into pc with Duke Nukem LANs and Doom. But I'll never forget the day dad arrived back from the States with Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II and Red Alert. Forever altered the course of my life :p

N64 Conker's Bad Fur Day & Ocorina of Time

I'm pretty old so my first gaming was done on a comadore 64 which was a very early pc with a joystick. Then the first nintendo (old gray box) that came with smbros; I completely wore out two of them with zelda, ninja gaiden and several other classics you've never heard of. When I was around 13yrs. or so I disovered porn and my well developed dexterity and grip came in usefull distracting me some-what from princess zelda. At 16 with a car I hung up my game pad to chase the proverbial poontang. It wasn't untill after college when I stumbled upon gaming again. A friend that I worked with owned a n64 and conker's bad fur day, which was obsolete even then being only about 6 yrs. ago but having not played for about 7 or 8 yrs. was the coolest game I had ever seen not to mention hillarious. I bought a n64 at gamestop along with conker's and ocorina of time for about 30 clams and rekindled my love afair with princess zelda and gaming.
