I also want to add that the only good Spiderman is the original Spiderman, plus Beast is just awesome, a true flawed hero.

that's fair. but he's just so damned popular that he must have multiples. every popular character has a least one.

Oh man, how far did Harvey get in the previous tournament? The guy beat Cancer. Not even Captain Marvel could beat cancer.

I can't believe Cable is beating Madman.
Cable is nothing more than Rob Liefield's wet dream of a guy with huge arms and even bigger guns.
Madman would totally hand Cable's ass to him.

If you've never read Madman now is a good time to start. Image is reprinting all of the previous releases in new trades. It's like a classic comic mixed with great philosophical rhetoric. Mike Allred writes and draws the thing and his wife does all his coloring (since Mike is color blind). He has a very clean retro style that I really dig and his plots are phenomenal.
I also recommend his run on X-Force(which turns into X-Statix later)

    Sounds like a good time.

Although I will be honest, I haven't read a comic in years. The last one I got was The Killing Joke, actually, for like $10.

Madman defeats Cable 8 to 6

    Beast thrashes Cosmic Spider-Man 10 to 3

Rorschach thaws Mr. Freeze with 8 to 6

Silver Surfer glides past Cyclops with 9 to 4

Heroes for Hire ties The Ultimates at 6 to 6. with my tiebreaker vote, the one to advance is:
    The Ultimates

The Thunderbolts beat BPRD 8 to 5

if anyone still cares, i fixed the mr freeze and cosmic spidey pics.

Doc Oc - While Evil Ernie is powerful, its Doc Oc.

Deadpool - I'm going with the patron saint of /co/ on this one.

    Superman - Superman can clap.

Psylocke - Who doesn't love a British mutant whose mind is inhabiting the body of hot Japanese assassin?

JSA - I'm going against the Fanboys. The JSA I think can beat two guys.

Sentinels of Magic - A group of crappy criminals who Batman has beaten numerous times BY HIMSELF against the most powerful magic users in DC. Hmm, tough call.
