They performed the autopsy against the wishes of her husband. While she died of natural causes, many suspect it was because she self-medicated in private since she never got to be as big a star as she had hoped.

She was depressed and she was taking something that no doctor prescribed to her to take to clear her depression.

When I didn't want to look at Heather Graham anymore and was still in the mood for 'a dirty hooker looking girl who wasnt really a dirty hooker' I would turn my gaze to Brittany Murphy, probably a drug related death, she was also diabetic ... who knows. Not one to sit and pry into celebrity deaths and the reasons but it's still a shame it happened at such a young age. Lost my dad when he was 39, not too far off from her!
