What are ya playing?

I'm stuck on Gigatrack in Trials: Evolution. I have a thing for not faulting. If I crash once, I restart the track. Is that considered OCD?

Going to beat Deus Ex and Shinobi tomorrow (unless Shinobi gives me a heart attack first).

So then I'm gonna quickly run through a season of Madden 2007, try to blow through the second half of Final Fantasy 13, and if there's any time left over I'll rent Batman Arkham City.

I'm going to be heading back home with my consoles for the next 4 days tonight so I have some time to play games. Gonna be tight.

Playing Dungeon Crawl on Webtiles as a Deep Elf/Fire Elementalist, pretty kick ass but I'll become a god when I get Fire Storm.

Picked up torchlight again. Powering through it.

If my computer didn't lag on it, I'd play it on roguelike mode.

It's how you get gold medals, so, no.

Not on Gigatrack surely?! I know Silver is 15 faults. If it's no faulting for Gold on that track I'm going to fucking kill myself.

Just beat Mass Effect 3, until the ending I thought the game was a great ride and a good conclusion but once the finale started I was a bit disappointed. I wouldn't say to the degree the internet has reacted but I figured a company like Bioware could of made a better ending. That being said even though the ending wasn't great this has been one of the best trilogies I've played. I've really loved how this game involved making decisions that truly affected the state of the game. Other games when making a story decision it's pretty simple but Mass Effect has caused me to many times pause and think on what to do. Decisions like the Rachni and the Genophage truly made me wonder what the effects were and made me think on how I wanted my character to affect the ME universe.

Going to try the extended cut soon, understandable that the ending was eh, huge build up and honestly when writing a story like ME the ultimate ending is the most difficult to write. I am mad that in order to get the perfect ending I had to play the multiplayer. After I return ME 3 might play a shorter game, I poured 35 hours into ME 3 I need a break from a long game.

Your computer lags on it?

My biggest problem is too much worthless loot. It's almost not really worth picking anything up that I'm not going to use anyways. I've only died once or twice. Got swarmed. Potions are my best friend though.

Madden 2007

I just realized I have it but never beat it so I'm powering through one season just so I can add it to my beaten games list.

I'll finish tomorrow. I'm not a fan of it compared to others in the series.

Well, I'm the dude who has played through a full franchise of Madden 2005 (30 seasons) on the hardest difficulty with all the sliders set to maximize difficulty and still won every game over the course of those thirty seasons by an average of 50-60 points with 5 minute quarters.

It's one of the very few games I ever got good at.

So, for me, I'd say no, but I think i general I'd go with it. I mean, what else could it be? Anything beyond 1 season is subjective. 5 seasons? Why 5 and not 6? 10 seasons? A whole franchise? Who says what's beaten and what's not?

That seems very OCD

Probably. I mean I am nutty enough to be bothered by the fact that I never beat Alice In Wonderland or Laser Lords when I was little on my CD-I even though both those games are abysmal and I only ever played them because I had nothing else.

Let's see. This last week I played...

TF2 - The new game mode is fun, but they do too much announcing and siren stuff. Also, I played with a friend who was a little too serious about it all. It really makes it less fun. I've gotten pretty damn good as Sniper recently, and getting more hours up as that.

Gears of War 3 - Played through the campaign with a friend. I fucking love the variation they have in this one, as opposed to 1 and 2 which were much more straightforward. Though the on-rails segments should've been cut.

Civ V - Fucking AI is so terrible. Nuff said.

Just got Endless Space the other day, and have been playing a bit of that....Still in the figure shit out mode, but it definitely seems like it has a lot of potential for being such a minor release.

Plus there isn't many turn based space 4x games anymore...So that's a plus.
