What are ya playing?

Nothing says Canada Day like beating a Canadian developed game, eh. That game being Simpsons Hit & Run.

What the f*** is wrong with me. Tons of games in my backlog, even unopened ones, and I buy Bully, Darksiders, and Final Fantasy XIII. I've started Bully and Darksiders. I'm more likely to finish Darksiders.

Sounds like someone hasn't gone through the Greaser chapter yet.

Darksiders is the one rare game that absolutely put me to sleep.

Been playing Bully non-stop. Like Daniel, bought it even though I have a large backlog, and even just started a few other games. I usually never play this many games at once.

Mass Effect 2 and the middle part of MW3 put me to sleep. However...I probably shouldn't have been playing at 3AM.

Halo Annivarsairy...and OH MY GOD the levels are repetitive as hell! I'm struggling to finish it because near the end of each level I'm going, "God...another futuristic corridor full of covenant...just end, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD - END!!!"

The first half has some amazing setpieces, but the second half is all libraries and corridors, yeah.

Well, I've been getting into some Dungeon Fighter Online lately. It's pretty cool, and certainly more appealing to me than APB: Reloaded was.

Oh, and I've recently redeemed the 3 months of Xbox LIVE code I got with Halo: Anniversary. As such, if any of you chaps wanna add me as a friend or something, look for L4Y Duke. The motto should be "Need More Bullets".

Fuck Shinobi is hard. I'm on the final boss, spent two hours trying to beat him, and had to stop so I could drive home.

A lot of the levels take place in the same setting...so...

Ya know, I'm guessing you never played Halos 1 through 3.

Hard Corps: Uprising...because it's Contra! It's fucking Contra with a new skin. It even has you put in the Konami code to get a revamped Contra song instead of the normal music.

You should play it, because...seriously...

IT'S CONTRA!!!

I've been playing World of Tanks which is a free tank multiplayer game. It can be enraging since you die easily in that game, but once in awhile you'd get into some pretty epic battles. Like one time, our artillery was under attack by a tank destroyer but I rammed my Sherman tank in front of the tank destroyer while shooting at him.

I'm also playing a hacked version of Final Fantasy Tactics which changes some stuff while adding a bit of a challenge to the game. Is it legal? I don't know, I own the Playstation and the game so whatever.

I might also give Fallout 3: Wanderer's Edition mod another try but it's pretty hard. Remembered being stuck on Super-Duper Mart for a day.

I pplayed all Halos from 3 onwards, the campaigns are really fun. But there's same setting...and then there's same floor repeated 3 more times, with the exact same layout and everything! "The Library" is the latest level I finished before that post, so that was what tipped me over the edge here

I played Halo 3 campaign again, and finally played Reach's. Now I'm playing Halo's and I just got amazed on how many missions were set the exact same way. After playing the other Halo games, I'm getting frustrated that I can jump as fast as I could after landing another jump. Also, the weapon selection sucks. Was the BR in the first Halo? I don't think. Oh, and I found a skull without using a guide!

MattAY, I was just wondering why you seemed surprised at the level layout, lol.

You're making harsh complaints about a game that was reworked to be a launch title at the last second. Just play...and have fun. Especially with a friend.
The BR was a Halo 2 addition. Which is in my opinion, the best game in the series. I'd love an HD remake of that.

EDIT: WAIT...have you guys ever played Halo on the PC? You're missing out if you haven't, the Custom Edition community is awesome.

I did say "After" I played the other games. I wasn't making complaints. It's like playing Super Mario Smash Bros Melee and then playing SMSB, it's not the same.

Battalion Wars, it was a toonie and it's not bad, even with your moronic ally AI and the horrendous vehicle controls.

I just downloaded Trials Evo. USed, I know what you mean about that menu song - holy fuck. I didnt want to start the game!

I rock at skill games.

Multiplayer :D!! It's fun as hell!! Playdate - Saturday night?!

Trials Evo is slightly boring multiplayer though. The asynchronous/ghost racing is the real highlight.

Yeah that is fun. But I think I need better bikes to actually compete with you guys first.

PS - The song is called "Vultures"...I freaking love it.
