It's an easy mode rpg that rewards having no life. You have to question why it's so popular? Its one of the worst games ever, and one of the best. Blizzard excels at making titles like that.

People like you are so **** stupid. honestly im sure there are alot of people that play wow that have no life.. but why generalize and say everyone that plays wow doesn't have a life.. its really stupid, so **** off.

I'm stupid because why? I generalised and said people who play have no life? Where exactly did I say that?

I said, and I quote:
...That rewards having no life.
.How the hell is that me saying anyone who plays it has no life exactly? Anyone who has played that game for a period of time knows that the epic items and the best gear is there for those who have all the time to devote to the game. Or a good portion of time, like 5 hour raids or more just to learn a new place.

I'm still wondering how you got me generalising out of my post. Nice try.

well no offense but the amount of characters you have would take pretty much having no life for :)

as for frozen... you just never leanred how to play.. i found it boring UNTIL level 18.. im bored right now at 44 tho... but i have no time to play anymore..

Well I do have a life, I just used to play wow.. alot, i don't see whats wrong with that.. theres some people that start playing from the second they wake up until they go to sleep.. now that would be having no life

^Haha, that reminds me of myself back in my extreme SWG days. Literally I woke up, rolled over, logged onto the game and stayed there for the better part of my day. I had no life and not going to lie about it. Well it really wasnt having no life but different priorities. I had friends and whatnot, but most of them were off in college or in the military. Since spending all the time on the computer didnt really harm me much, it didnt really bother me. Well, except that It made me horny as hell, not seeing a girl for a while.

Bah, I know how to play MMOs. SWG is my favorite game ever, and my favorite current ones are EQ2 and EVE. I just dont like it because like Lethan said, it is a MMO on easy mode. My favorite games require skill and/or dedication (i.e. a crapload of free time) to actally get anywhere. Usually in a MMO when there isnt much incentive to do something, I just do it because of the tough journey there (in EQ2 I had a female high-elf shadowknight just because I wanted to get "wtf?"s from people and wanted to do the betrayal quest, which was dead awesome). I also like my MMOs to feel like a real world, when I play WoW, I feel like a guest an an amusement park rather than a guy in a huge world. This is why I like EvE and SWG so much (in the case of SWG, liked), those games are more or less ran by the player, or at least give the player the illusion that he actually matters in the game world.

I dont want to go off into a rant as to why I hate this game so I am just gonna stop with what I dont like about the game there. It isnt really a bad game, just that when I first played it I figured people would be bored after they get the phat lewt for thier level 60s after running the same raids over and over. I'm just surprised that he game is still going strong.

And you know, despite my dislike for the game I'm still going to try out the burning crusade once it comes out.

I posted in that topic. That was probably the most epic topic to come through the WoW forums.

Also, if any of you are still playing WoW and happen to be on the Dark Iron server (Where Joe and I play) you have an open invite to join the Penny Arcade Alliance.

If any of you want to change servers before TBC or want to start getting into the game around the release of TBC join Dark Iron and we have a spot for you in any of the PAA guilds.

PST to Isard.

Peace.

Also, on the topic of the game being boring- It is if you A) don't have friends to quest with and B) Are stuck in the mid 40's and on your way to 60.

It gets WAY boring. But when you start hitting high level instances and become part of a static raiding group it is one of the best things you can do on a computer next to googling Kenny Rogers Porn.

Raiding can be pretty fucking boring.

The single most epic topic is the one the wow funeral video was based on. Here's a link.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OXlKCTn2_0

Except that one got way to personal and the previous topic was a joke.

To the person who said raiding can be boring:

Yes, if you are raiding with a bunch of c0ckbags. But we are c0ckbagless in Disciples of Divx raids and I seriously haven't had a better time playing a video game than late night raids with the guys and girls of the PAA. (Secret hint- sometimes special guest stars show up in Ventrillo ^_^)

Anyhow, open invitation to any GR members.

Heh. They aren't c0ckbags it's just...Repetitive :/.

Although the week after I quit, an Ashkandi dropped and it would have gone to me >_<.

I'm thinking of EBaying my account and just getting a new one.

Damn that sucks. I want my hunter to get an Ashkandi :).

So, in other news a friend of mine hooked up a private server and although some of the scripts for the fights are broken we can do anything we want.

Can anybody say dual Ashbringers? I can.

We did a 6 man MC clear. Max level cap is 80 and we can alter our health, mana and rage. ^_^

Cheating FTW!

Let me see if I can get the private *free* server info for you guys.

All you need is the game installed and the startup program. No Bilz account needed.
