Streaming

Hey Urbz, is there a way to take the stream coming from PS4 and also get the player-facing camera thing happening? Does the PS Eye camera do that? Curious.... Now that the console does the work I'm probably going to get into this more.
 
I dont know if i understand the question. The Camera we had mounted on the TV was connectted to the stream and that was the PS Eye. I wish they'd let the user dress the stream a bit more due to the amount of grey area on the screen - prob will serve ads there.
 
I didn't see any ads. Your co-worker Andy was using a headset which didn't cause any echos for the game audio. Just so we're clear on this, anyone buying a PS Camera should note there will be an echo if they're streaming their voice with it. Then again, It could be placed somewhere not near the TV.
 
I also noticed not only on your stream, but Max Parker's stream as well (game journalist for Pittsburgh's Post-Gazette) If your bandwidth isn't great (specially upload speed) the quality will automatically degrade itself. Max Parker's stream was terribly unstable, but he then hardwired it and it was stable then. So, don't go wireless if you're going to do this. I can't tell you anymore from this, because I don't know what it's like with a PS4, yet. I'm wondering how limited the setup is for PS4's live stream.

Yea we just looked into that. Its the Camera primarily echoing
 
I like it, and it sucks that they still have the HDCP and no Component jack.

I just found out that UStream has a 24/7 kitty cam.

I'm not even gonna TRY and compete with that. Though I may play some Sid Meier's Pirates later, or something. Depends on my mood.
