I pooped blood when I had to eat nothing but MREs for the first time. I think it was because the MRE made my poop so hard that it literally tore open my asshole coming out. Most horrifying poop I ever took in my life.

I didn't think much of it, though. I just looked down at the toilet and thought "Huh? Blood, weird.", flushed, and then walked away like I just got fucked in the ass.

If its not repeating it sounds like a similar situation, but given that we can get checked out for free, I definitely advise a checkup, and despite being in any real pain besides slight discomfort, our pill happy docs gave me some perks and told me to take a few days off

Based on the description, its probably a hemmoroid or something like that.

If it was actually cancerous, the blood would be mixed in with the poop, so the poop would be a dark color over bright red.

Still, get it looked at just in case.

Sounds like you broke your pretty little balloon knot, buddy. Like Links said, blood in poo is really bad. You probably burst a vessel interior or exterior. If there's a decent blood stain with your skidmarks you're looking at closer to the exterior. If it's just in the bowl then we're talking interior. There's also the possibility of anal fissures or polyps too. But they're less likely.

Pooping blood doesn't mean its anything serious.
Pooping "lots of blood" = not good.

The only time this has happened to me was the first post constipation poop. The loaf was fully brown, but the exit tip had a hint of blood stuck to it which clouded the water.

If the blood is running out of your anus - seek medical attention immediately. If it was attached to the poop, i think you're fine, but no harm in checking it out.

Did you strain a lot on the poop? or did was it easy?
