VaultDweller...I feel your pain. If anything, I will rent fallout 3 and reminisce about Fallout 2 then return Fallout 3 and actually have fun with a real Fallout game. Like I stated earlier in this thread, the worse thing that can be done to a fallout game would be to have it rated by the ESRB. I have no issue with console games but some games just shouldn't be revived and brought into such a harsh world of censorship. I honestly don't see a place for Fallout in the realm of console gaming simply due to creative stifling by the ESRB. I guess one of the most refreshing aspects of the Fallout franchise (Fallout 1 & 2) was that at times you felt like the guy who designed this is funny as hell, the fact that I can do this in a game is funny as hell, this is not like any other game on the market because it pushes so many boundaries. The biggest factor being that a significant draw and appeal to the game was the things you couldn't do in any other similar game. It just doesn't seem like they are trying to push any boundaries with this game in fact I would go as far as to say they are simply using the Brand Name to drive up sales of a cookie cutter FPS. I may be wrong and we will see, but I am 100% certain that if you go into this game looking for that novel experience presented in the past Fallout games you will be woefully disappointed.
