Butter tastes better, but I prefer margarine and vegetable oils for daily uses. Makes me feel like I'm doing at least something for my health.

I don't even taste the difference anymore, but that could be because I haven't actually had butter in a while....

When baking however, butter is much better than margarine, but I don't taste the butter in the end product anyway.

What's better for you and what gets better cooking results are two different things, Lien. Cooking tends to call for butter most of the time.

I put margarine on toast, I use it when I make eggs. When I cook anything else it's butter.

I still vote margarine though.
