The Least Surpising News of New Decade

Did anyone watch 60 Minutes on Sunday. Great review with Steve Schmidt about the background of the McCain/Pallin ticket. Turns out McCain had wanted Lieberman, but he was considered too Liberal to ever fly in the GOP, so Steve went through youtube at all the female conservatives and Pallin stood out.

They then had to teach her American history. No joke, they had to explain WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and the Cold War to her.

Also, she couldn't say "Biden". She kept calling him Obiden, which is why during the VP debate she asked if she could call him Joe. She did slip up once during the debate.

Then there came the whole slew of issues where she would blatantly try to lie about something and they'd tell her "You can't fucking say that!" Specifically when she tried to say her husband had never been a member of the Alaska Separatist Movement, when he had for 7 years.

You also learned that a lot of people screwed over Hillary. A lot of her original backers sided with Obama over her. But I think that's for the best since she's doing a great job as Secretary of State. Not perfect, mind you, but she has really been an asset.

There was a Democratic strategist (which is the dumbest fucking title anybody can have... political strategist) that said this is bad news for the Democratic party because it looks like she will be running in 2012 now.

What? This is the best news! Get her as much exposure as she wants! Make her be Glenn Beck's cohost! Show the whole world how much of a sham she really is!

Agreed. She already has the Fox News crowd eating out of her hands. This will just increasingly polarize her within the GOP, and create countless fodder for her IF she tries to run in 2012.

Also, I PRAY that if she does run, someone asks her live: "Will you also quit the Presidency if it becomes too tough?"

Funniest/Dumbest quote from Steve Schmidt about if Palin not been on the ticket, "our margin of defeat would've been greater than it would've been otherwise."
