I didn't. I thought it was a convoluted mess of a game to be honest, and I feel like the only reason Cloud and Sephiroth are so popular is because of one act in that game, and we all know what I am talking about.

I mean, yeah, it was good, but IMO, 8 was better, and so was 10.

The duel is also a part of it, but basically because Aries is killed at the end of disk one is why the game is so popular.
