Suggestion - The ability to merge topics.

I sent a PM about this to Duke a while back and he never got back to me and I think this is a great idea so I'm going to post it here and hope for a response.

One of the big reasons a topic gets closed by moderators is duplicate topics. We see them all the time - Someone makes a topic that already exists about a subject so we close it and guide people to the appropriate one. I was just thinking that perhaps the ability to merge topics would be beneficial to the forums if it can be done.

Let me know what you guys (the GMs) think.
