Is the Survival-Horror genre dead?

Is RE5 going to be a blend of RE4 and the original or is it going to have the same gameplay mechanics of RE4 and focus on action?

I pose this question again. I saw a video today that led me to believe that. It was outdoors. It looked like fun but also disappointed me. Where the f*** are my creepy zombies, scary moments that make me jump and spooky settings?

When it comes to trailers, RE5 is going the same route as the MGS series. They're releasing little tidbits here and there which may be spoilers or they're just pulling our leg. For example, at the end of one trailer it was announced that...Jill Valentine is dead!!!

But that could be BS and just used to get people talking. I doubt they'd reveal something like that in a trailer. Then again, when the trailer came out for RE4 they revealed Ada Wong was in it which I thought was a huge spoiler.
