It's been awhile and I have some free time lately. How's about a comic book showdown?
Everyone can submit up to four comic book originating characters and one team for their nominees. If you have a favorite picture you'd like used for your picks, feel free to PM them to me. Once a character or team has been nominated, they're in so no need to repeat the pick of someone else.
I don't want to be strict when it comes to multiple portrayals of characters. If you want to pick Jason Todd's Robin and Tim Drake's Robin, sure why not? If you want to go old school and choose the Alan Scott Green Lantern, that would be cool and awesome. We don't need, however, both Superman and Clark Kent.
Above all, I want this to be fun and hopefully interactive with all involved.
I want to get at least get 64 nominees and 16 teams. If you guys think we can fill 128 with enough characters without having to resort to ones like Joker henchman #3, I'll extend everyone four more picks and one more team. That's what we ended up doing last year, but I'll await your feedback on that. For now, just stick with four and one.
I'll let the nominations run a few days and see how many we get. I myself won't choose any unless I need to fill holes in the brackets after all the picks are in.
