I saw this last night and it was VERY disappointing. I had high hopes, especially with Scorcese and DiCaprio, but the ending was about as big of a cop out as "and then he woke up". Anyone else go see this?

I sure hope that was just a comparison Schimmel and not a spoiler! I'm going to see this tomorrow.

Don't worry, if it was a direct spoiler it'd have been in white

I saw previews for this when I saw Law Abiding Citizen like 5 months ago, and it looked really cool. My question is, is it as scary as the previews made it look?

No, in fact it's not scary at all. The plotline doesn't do a really good job of keeping you engaged either. I'd give it a solid 2 stars, good enough for getting teenagers to sneak into it, but not good enough for anyone but the teenagers who snuck into it to like

Yeah, I thought the ending was lame. Everything leading up to it was compelling enough but the payoff was meh.

Don't waste your money, see this on HBO or rent it.

(At its best it had a Batman Arkham Asylum vibe... where the lunatics were running the mad house... at worst it was confusing with no payoff... Memento is what I'd compare it to, and that movie was words better.)

That's disappointing to hear. I really enjoyed Scorcese's previous work.

This comes as bad news. I'll still probably go see it because I haven't been to tge theaters in a while and I've been sort of excited for this.

Did any one else think the guy with the staples in his face looked like a young DeNiro at first?
