Fuck, I didn't even know Harvey Pekar died!
I will be missed, good stuff he created.
Rest in Peace, old man. You will live on through your cartoons
The movie on his life was fantastic.
RIP you curmudgeon with a heart of gold.
His comics were also about his life, so I submit the movie is about his comics...
Anyhow, it has been on my Netflix list for ages and hasn't made it to the top yet.
Well it should be. It's one of Paul Giamatti's best roles. And the real Harvey Pekar is there to break the fourth wall throughout the entire film, though it never felt over the top. It's great.
hehe.. he kinda look like Gargamel... sigh... but it doesn't cheer me up.

"I'll always remember him as the dude who made American Splendor" Lien
Yeah, the movie is the only way I knew him, and that was neat.
Rest in peace.
