I did like Meredith more personally.

My problem with the Penguin in Batman Returns is how inconsistant he is. One minute hes a freakshow whose using his gang to cause mayhem, so he can get on the surface world and find out his identity.

The next minute he is running for mayor, using the said gang to help him win, is a poon hound who is looking to have sex, and then decides to kidnap and murder children.

Serious tonal issues, am I supposed to feel bad for him? How can I when he is a psychopath?

The only time I felt bad for Penguin was his death scene, when the penguins all carried him down into the water. Or maybe I just felt bad for the penguins.

I think I'm with Links on this one. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Danny DeVito as the Penguin/Oswold Cobblepot, but I had no sympathy for the character despite his past and upbringing.

Although Batman Forever and Batman Begins I did enjoy.

Plus Batman: Dead End is awesome and a fan film essentially.
