the play is a lot better...I mean I give Tom credit he can sing. But it just sounds...modern, which is kinda not the point even though in the play I got that vibe too.

I don't know...cover songs today tend to have the Glee effect of slick, modern productions, and this reminds me of Glee in terms of how it sounds.

And that is not necessarily a good thing.
