I just found out about her within the past month, half a month. Oh man where the hell have I been?

"Summertime Sadness" is how I discovered her. Guess it's new as it plays on the radio.

What do ya think? I listened to some of her other songs that I didn't like as much, but I'm going to listen to them again. I'll probably end up liking them.

Also she is smoking hot. Damn.

P.S. I googled "Lana Del Rey" to see what type of heritage she has, and I an article about Miley Cyrus doing a cover to Summertime Sadness on BBC Radio. That would probably ruin the song for me.

I really like Lana Del Ray. She has a lot of great stuff with a different vibe that doesn't get radio play. Serial Killer is a great track that I think was left off the album. No idea why.

Couple years back, I think it was around 2011, the uptight goons at Pitchfork or some other media factory declared her the "next big thing" before actually hearing any of her music. She was super hyped-up and then had a disastrous SNL performance. So the internet broke out the torches and pitchforks and it was all over for her.

I know all this from second-hand internet osmosis. I've never actually heard any of her music. Maybe I'll click on one of those links now, or later today.
