GR Scores/Medals

According to my profile, I have a GR Score of 580. And I have medals for post count, blogging, etc (though I should have some medals for being featured in the Manifesto twice!).

Do you intend to ever use these scores for anything ever?

And since I know the answer to that question is "no," can you finally tell us what the previous staff was talking about when they constantly promised us that the GR Scores would pay off in prizes and awards? Were they just blowing smoke up our asses? Nick must have some insider info.

I have a feeling that that above statement was the total extent of the purpose of GR scores.

Yeah, since mixing up the front we've taken a look at the GR scores. I can't say anything we've talked about since it's not definite and entirely dependent on the tech team, but a new year means lots of new directions.
