OK, so an update:
Toyota Canada decided to fuck me around a bit. They claim they honor all warranties on US-bought Toyota AND Scions. But, try finding a dealership that will actually DO any warranty work on a Scion!
The official response from Toyota Canada:
After much pondering, the Yaris is now a last resort car. It just looks so small, plain and boring when compared to some of the stuff out there. And the Matrix, when looking at it now, looks like something a 40-year old mother would drive her kids around in.
So, I'm taking out the Matrix, and swapping out the Scion for... da da da dAaaaAAAA
A 5-door Mazda3 sport.

So, looks like the sexy Scion xD is no longer an option. Shame too, I really liked the look of that car.As the Scion marque is not in any way affiliated with Toyota Canada, we are not in a position to assist you with obtaining parts and service on an imported Scion.
