I'm so used to cleaning up spam it just looks like a bunch of bots won.

Even when the contest ended, bots still came in. I don't know if Jonathan Leack looked at each user to make sure they didn't submit twice or not. This is evidence right here. The only thing I could do is delete the highlighted spammers and their other users based upon their IP address.

They got their page hits, that's all that really matters...
