Just in case anyone wants one. Eurogamer (still is) and Gamespot (haven't checked yet) are giving away closed beta keys. The closed beta already started and ends on the 20th. Here just sign up on Eurogamer for a beta key (PSN or Xbox LIVE).

My video capturing device is only good with standard def. I was cheap, but it's not that bad. The problem is it causes me to be crappy at games.

Hey, I'm just trying to post news. This FPS type game is fun. Most of you enjoyed Battlefield 1943, why not try this out?

And Bret, are you talking about the closed beta or open beta? The closed beta keys were given out from GameSpot and Eurogamer. The closed beta has already ended, but impostors are still able to play online. The open beta date has yet to be announced. All I know is it's supposed to happen this month. If it takes longer, then I will be a little disappointed.

 

At this point, I don't really care. I'm too busy fighting the Collectors and wooing alien women.

It's pretty awesome, haven't had this much fun with a downloadable shooter since 1943.
Give this a campaign + a co-op mode and it could maybe be worth a retail release.
