What do you guys think of this! Activision, Viveldi Games, and Blizzard are merging into one company for a net worth of over $18.4 billion, and with a likely revenue of $3 billion a year in video games. This is REAL huge, just for the sheer amount of game franchises involved in this. Call of Duty, Warcraft, WoW, Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero, F.E.A.R; all have access to the others resources, all are under one roof, one developer, and what makes it better is that it's still a publicly traded company. This is HUGE.
So you are saying that I can now level up my skateboarding night elf while shooting ghost Nazis in the head with my guitar playing? Sign me up!
I was more thinking of kickfliping my guitar playing Space Paladin of Rock over Mayan spike pits, military grade weaponry and evil zombie Nazis.
I will never forgive Vivendi for what it did to Crash Bandicoot and Spyro. Therefor, I do not approve.
Hey, whatever gives developers access to more funds with which to innovate is fine by me. As long as they do innovate, that is...
All I know is if the next character class in WoW is Guitar Hero I am renewing my fucking subscription!
