I think think Bioshock has the best introduction. Entering the Bathysphere, whatching Adrew Ryan's introduction to Rapture, see the underwatering utopia, and getting attacked by a Splicer is all very exciting to watch, that would more than likely give you goose-bumps.

FFVIII was my favourite opening FMV ever, with the time it came out being taken into account.
