After a long season, the wait is over.
The 128 fighters are all ready, their nerves stilled by their iron wills. The crowds are set to cheer them on as they fight old friends, new enemies, and survive as long as they can to make it to the finals.
Will we have a repeat champion this year in Tiger Jackson, or will one of the previous champions take him down? Will we see deep runs by the Cinderella stories of last year, namely Aaron and Fulgore, both of which are participating in the tournament? Will one of the seasonal champions parley their success into the grand championship? Or will some of the greats who have come close before, like Heihachi, finally achieve their ultimate goal?
Let the tournament begin! We shall be doing two matchups in a row.
