GTA: VC SFFed GTA3 in round 1, pulling off the seed upset. Final Fantasy IX did basically the same thing, and because of it two very popular games have fallen early. Now one of these games will advance to the 3rd round, and which will be very interesting considering the parallels that can be drawn between the two games.

I didn't like FF9 but I was hooked on Vice City for months on end when it came out.

Conker crushed the original Super Mario Brothers convincingly, but it's about to encounter a much more powerful Mario Brother in SMB3. SMB3 was not quite impressive in it's defeat of Link's Awakening, but will probably have little problems dispatching Conker.
