Want a difficult game, play one that never ends, like the Sims or Morrowind or Animal Crossing or Nintendogs. Simple in desgin, but no goals except the personal ones you make.

I just finished Indigo Prophecy. The game is not too short and not too long. It takes a while to finish because you have to think before you act and is not like KOTOR when you can talk to the person again to talk about a different subject.
