Ah, I wish I had a few snapshots of the old house, and the mess of cords at the back of the TV! We had an old, little TV at the border of the kitchen and the living room (all open space -- wonderful), and aaaall the consoles were out there, as organized as they could be. The TV was on a cart with two shelves, and we organized it as best we could. Nevertheless, it often became a forest back there, with metres of cable tumbling over one another. We had special containers for games, but I'm not sure what became of them.

Since we moved, we've just been keeping everything in the generic moving boxes we moved them in. They're kept hidden behind a section of the couch, and some on the very wide window sill. I guess we should eventually get racks, and take pics.
