Well, according to the US armchair politicians, "communism" (aka those god-damn red liebruls) is an oppresive authoritarian system, internally somewhat socialist but fiercely capitalist in foreign trades. At least that's what the USSR was.

Wrong, greed is nothing but a by-product of greed-based economical systems we're being indoctrinated with. It is an imperative function of the brain, surely - but then again, so is the tendency to reproduce, but that doesn't mean everyone is fucking everyone in the street - as we're social animals, any such hard-wired urges can be eliminated by the use of social standards and self-control. Of course, I'm not saying this is true for every last human, because there will always be deviants and criminals as long as there are laws and social standards.

About the mutually exclusive proposals ... yes if you interpret their definite meaning then yes, they are mutually exclusive. But I think you and I and of course Lethean know that he probably asked you to lessen your 'voice' a bit down about politics and start discussing the game for which this thread was made for. No?
